National Non-Smoking Week
January 21st-27th 2007 -During National Non-smoking Week, Jan 21-27, 2007, article 4 held several events throughout the city of Barrie, based on the “Integrity Campaign.” A major part of our campaign was partnering with the infamous Barrie Colt’s. Star players, Richard Clune and Ryan Bellows show their support by signing our Integrity Banner!

Tobacco Industry’s lack of integrity
On March 31st 2007 -we staged a bold and shocking demonstration speaking out against the Tobacco Industry’s lack of integrity. The demonstration took place on the corner of Cundles and St.Vincent. Our demonstration captured the interest of local media and was reported on.

HOP DAT PARK
We officially hopped a total of 8 parks throughout Barrie on July, 17th, 2007. Traveling from park to park with fun and games for the local children, including water balloon fights, hoola hoop competitions, face painting, potato sac racing, all to raise awareness about the importance of smoke free parks and playing fields!!

Movie Night Under the Stars
The Smoke-Free Movie Night under the Stars was held on July 18th, 2007, at the Village at Blue where the movie 'Click' featuring Adam Sandler was being played. This was a joint event with Target from article 4!
